New Training Tool Introduced for DC Bowling Teams

The Davis County High School Bowling team has enhanced its training this season with the addition of a Torch X system, a light-based tool designed to improve bowlers’ accuracy and alignment. Donated by local businesses including Esco Electric and RT Auto, the system projects a path of light from the foul line to the pins, enabling bowlers to visualize ideal launch angles and break points. Coach Jason Rook emphasized the system’s effectiveness for both novice and experienced athletes, facilitating a better understanding of key bowling concepts while promoting community support as the team continues its season. The Torch X is currently in use at Champion Bowl in Ottumwa during practice sessions.
