Orion Energy Systems (NASDAQ: OESX) has secured a significant contract valued between $12 million and $18 million to implement LED lighting retrofits for a North American Building Products distributor at over 400 locations. The project, expected to generate approximately $1 million in revenue for FY25, will commence in the third quarter of FY25 and span several years. It will involve comprehensive services including site assessments, lighting audits, fixture manufacturing, project management, and installation of various LED lighting solutions, such as high bays, strip fixtures, and exterior lighting. This initiative aims to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint while enhancing safety and lighting quality across the distributor’s sites, marking a notable achievement for Orion in the competitive LED retrofit market.
