Orion Wins Significant Contract for Turnkey LED Lighting Retrofits with Leading National Building Materials Distributor

Orion Energy Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OESX), a provider of energy-efficient LED lighting and electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has been awarded a significant project to retrofit lighting for a North American Building Products distributor across its 400 locations. The project, set to begin in Orion’s Q3 FY25 and expected to last for several years, is estimated to be worth between $12 – $18 million, with approximately $1 million anticipated for FY25. This lighting upgrade will enhance workplace safety, reduce energy usage and carbon emissions, and optimize the lighting environment for employees and customers. Orion’s CEO, Michael Jenkins, expressed pride in the award as a testament to the company’s capability in delivering turnkey lighting solutions that meet the energy efficiency and sustainability goals of large-scale customers.
