Pouncey Tract Park to Unveil New Pickleball Complex on November 2

Henrico County will celebrate the grand opening of its newest pickleball courts at Pouncey Tract Park in Short Pump on Saturday, Nov. 2, starting with a dedication ceremony and “first serve” at 10 a.m. The new complex boasts 12 illuminated courts, including two championship-caliber courts located under large canopies, complementing the 12 existing courts in the park. Enhancements to the facility include an 86-car illuminated parking area, upgraded access road, and improved walking and ADA-compliant sidewalks. The courts feature asphalt surfaces with acrylic coatings and LED lighting, ensuring a consistent experience with the nearby facilities.
