Renovations Set to Close Basketball Courts at Douglass Park in Columbia, Featuring New Mizzou Logo at Center Court

The basketball courts at Douglass Park in Central Columbia will close this week for renovations, as announced by the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department. The renovations are slated for completion by early June and are funded by donations from the University of Missouri, the Veterans United Foundation, and the Park Sales Tax. Key improvements will include a new park shelter, enhanced rums, LED lighting, and upgraded sports surfacing, all intended to honor MU women’s assistant coach Willie Cox.
