Bloxham School has been granted permission to upgrade its Dewey sports Centre, despite concerns from local residents regarding floodlight usage and noise from sporting activities. The approved enhancements include the addition of 12 new lighting columns, five netball or tennis courts, an artificial cricket wicket, a replacement long jump pit, and 31 parking spaces. The proposal garnered 33 objections, including one from the Bloxham Parish Council, as well as 52 letters of support. The planning committee ultimately voted in favor of the scheme, with a majority supporting the application despite previous rejections.
