Second Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration Held at Dicks House of Sports

The second annual “Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration” took place at the Dick’s House of sports in Johnson City, welcoming families for a festive early glimpse of Christmas. Attendees engaged in a variety of holiday activities, including ornament decorating, ice skating, and writing letters to Santa, all while enjoying delicious food and a hot chocolate bar. Michael Wenner, the community experience director, expressed enthusiasm for hosting the event again, highlighting its role in creating lasting memories for families. The celebration culminated in the awarding of a $4,000 athletics grant to the local “BC Bulls” hockey organization, further enriching the community spirit of the occasion.
