Greenwood Parks and Recreation is gearing up for summer as it announces the opening of all parks’ restrooms and extended hours from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., starting Thursday, May 1. The city boasts 17 parks covering 400 acres, featuring scenic walking trails, sports facilities, and programs for all ages. Key attractions include over 50 miles of multi-use trails, the newly opened Greenwood Sports Park with its sports fields and splash pad, and Freedom Park’s pickleball complex.
