Tsinghua Allocates RMB 1.2 Billion for LED Optical Development at New Technology Park

Tsinghua Unigroup has entered into an agreement with the Lipu County government for a substantial investment of RMB 1.2 billion to develop a technology park in Lipu County. Spanning 41.33 hectares, the park will specialize in research and development as well as production in sectors such as LED optics, electrical and digital products, and telecommunications equipment. The project, funded by Tsinghua’s Shenzhen subsidiary, will incorporate both industrial and residential developments within the Jinjiping industrial park zone A and Wuli New City. Construction is expected to take three years, with projected revenues exceeding RMB 100 million upon completion.
