Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting is expanding its focus on outdoor lighting solutions to capitalize on emerging opportunities, particularly in sectors such as sports stadia, facade, and landscaping lighting. Senior VP Anuj Dhir highlighted that outdoor lighting currently accounts for about 15% of the company’s ₹1,000 crore revenue and is a rapidly growing segment, especially in infrastructure projects. During the recent launch of a customer experience center in Hyderabad, Dhir outlined plans to open 6-8 additional centers in major cities next financial year. He also emphasized the company’s ongoing innovation in indoor lighting, including smart solutions designed to adapt to changing workplace environments post-COVID, where enhancing employee well-being has become paramount.
